Two cocktailians came into River Bar last night, and for their second round asked for something herbal like a Green Point...or something inspired by John Gertsen. So why not both? A Cognac Sazerac mashed up with a Green Point (Sazeracs and Green Points were 2 drinks John enthusiastically made back in the day at No. 9 Park)! Named after a neighborhood in New Orleans.
Stir with ice, strain into an Herbsaint-rinsed old fashioned glass, and garnish with lemon oil from a twist.
