About this Cocktail
The origin: needing something that could hold its own with a pretty flavorful dinner (no big reds were available). Now we occasionally have the drink on its own.
1.5 oz Bombay Sapphire East
1.5 oz Punt e Mes
1 oz Fiorente Elderflower liqueur
2 good dashes Bitter End Mexican Mole bitters
Stir and strain into a chilled coupe/margarita glass
Because it’s not quite as sweet, I prefer the Fiorente to St. Germain in this drink.
(If shaken, the color isn’t terribly appealing for a couple of minutes; best stirred.)
