About this Cocktail

After a night of experimenting with Bananarac (Banana Sazerac) recipes floating around, I decided to try to combine it with a Daiquiri. I've been using a daiquiri recipe from a Jeffrey Morganthaler video, which has a bit more booze than many of the traditional daiquiri recipes. This level of booziness works well for the Sazerac hybrid. I just tweaked a few items from there.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz medium rum
  • 1 oz Cognac
  • .75 oz Gifford Banane du Bresil
  • .75 oz lime juice
  • 2 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
  • Absinthe
Preparation:

Coat a glass with some Absinthe. Mix the remaining ingredients. Shake + Strain.
