About this Cocktail
It’s a Tiki-drink, but I’m not a Tiki-glass fan, so it’s a rock glass for me poured over a big, single ice globe. Use the bitters on top of that great foamy head instead of in the drink.
2 oz Bacardi Rum
1 oz Creme de Banana Liqueur
.75 oz Cream of Coconut
1 oz freshly squeezed Lime juice
.5 oz Cointreau
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Add all but the bitters/lemon twist to a shaker and add ice.
Shake VIGOROUSLY for 15-20 seconds and single strain with a Hawthorne or Boston shaker top into glass of which you’ve already placed one large ice sphere.
Add a dash or two Angostura Bitters to taste and garnish with a lemon twist.
