This recipe makes two servings, as it is difficult to blend a smaller amount
15-20 Thai basil leaves
5 oz white rum
A “fat” 1.5 oz lime juice
A “skinny” 1.5 oz simple syrup
Pinch of salt
Blend the basil and rum into a slurry—better to under blend than overdue it and create a brown, swampy mess. Immediately add lime, then simple and salt.
Strain before shaking with ice into a coupe.
