Black Sea Swizzle

About this Cocktail

My drink of the day for Loyal Nine's Fernet week that I took Caribbean with a thought or two about the Benton Park Swizzle.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Rhum Agricole Blanc (such as JM)
  • 1/2 oz Wray & Nephew Overproof White Rum
  • 1/2 oz Benedictine
  • 1/2 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Fernet Branca (floated)
Preparation:

Build all but the Fernet Branca in a Collins glass, add crushed ice, and swizzle to mix and chill. Add a straw, float the 1/2 oz Fernet Branca, and garnish with a citrus peel pirate ship.

    Please adapt the Fernet Branca to your tastes. A 1/4 oz might be better or perhaps even a barspoon if you're averse to it taking over.
