About this Cocktail

Thanks again to Robert Hess and his cocktail video series. Another old but pleasant classic

  • 2 oz Elijah Craig 12 Year Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 Luxardo Maraschino
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • Dash of Angostura Bitters
  • Sugar Rim

Garnish coupe or martini glass with wide lemon twist used to rim the glass. Dip in fine sugar. Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into glass.

    Refrigerate glass Take lemon slice, with glass upside down, rim glass Dip in sugar Roll lemon peel and put in glass Add ingredients to smaller shaker cup, add ice, add larger cup, hit and shake figure eight motion till outside frosty, hit top at 3 or 9 o'clock an never at 6 or 12 o'clock
