This is a modern twist on a cocktail that dates back to the late 1800's. This version of the Manhattan cocktail features bourbon instead of the traditional rye, with some home-made maraschino cherry's to top it off.
2 oz bourbon
1 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry or an orange twist as secondary choice.
