A reshake from back in 2004 when the famed Jeffrey Morgenthaler enjoyed the name of a friend’s band. His recipe includes a dash of Angostura Bitters, however when watching the Educated Barfly the DAB is NOT listed in
the recipe, yet Liandro does have a Japanese dasher on his set. But wait! There is a much older EducatedBarfly video (circa long haired Liandro) and THAT video he does use the Dab as well as having it in the video. Either way is ‘gonna be perfect.
2 oz Bulleit Bourbon
1/2 oz Creme de Casis
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
Dehydrated Lemon Slice Garnish
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
Shake vigorously until well chilled and double strain into medium sized rocks glass over a single TrueCubes clear ice cube.
