About this Cocktail

Going wayyy back! Joseph Santini - City Exchange Bar, NOLA - 1850. First recorded in, "How To Mix Drinks" by Jerry Thomas, 1862.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz Cognac
  • 1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 3 dash Angostura bitters
  • Lemon peel
Preparation:

Mix all in a shaker full of ice. Double strain into chilled cocktail/coupe glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
