About this Cocktail
During my guest bartending night at Backbar, a guest asked for something like a Negroni but rather caustic. It turned out so well, I made it for two more guests that night.
1 oz Laphroaig 10 Year Scotch
1/2 oz Amaro Sfumato (or Zucca)
1/2 oz Averna
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 bsp (1/8 oz) Vanilla Syrup
Stir with ice, strain into a double old fashioned glass, add ice, and garnish with a grapefruit (or orange) twist.
