I love Mint Juleps. I love Chartreuse. You can see where I am going with this! Simply a mint julep with a green chartreuse float. Delicious.
Lightly bruise about 12 mint leaves with the bourbon and sugar syrup in the base of your shaker. Shake briefly with ice (you don't want blitzed mint) and then strain into a glass (or Julep cup) filled with crushed ice. Churn the ice adding more until the glass is nearly full. Float over the green chartreuse. Slap a large sprig of mint between tour palms and stick into the drink so that it wraps around your nose as you drink.
