About this Cocktail

An original. Working with fat-washing and this coconut oil Cachaça has been weird and inspiring to say the least. There's the obvious tiki route (which shall be posted later, but I couldn't help doing a Negroni riff with it, so viola!

  • 1.25oz coconut oil infused Cachaça
  • .75oz Cynar
  • 1oz Carpano Antica
  • 1 dash Bitter Truth Spiced Chocolate bitters

Stir, strain into coupe, orange peel garnish.

Coconut oil Cachaça:
1 cup Cachaça (Pitú)
2 tablespoons coconut oil

Dissolve the oil into the Cachaça either by melting the Cachaça first or stirring rapidly at room temp. Let sit 24 hrs, then refrigerate. After cooled, scrape/strain oil off the top, strain through coffee filter to clarify.
