About this Cocktail

Ben Fife, a bartender from Spokane Washington, added a drink on the onthebar app called Charlie Bronson that this is almost entirely based on. I subbed licor 43 for drambuie and changed the name to the character Charles Bronson played in the Great Escape. Those are the only changes. I love both drinks. It's not better but it is definitely different.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5oz Ransom Old Tom Gin
  • .5oz Apple Brandy
  • .25oz Licor 43
  • A barspoon of simple (I use 1:2 gum syrup)
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Lemon Twist
Preparation:

Stir it on ice and strain it into an old fashioned glass with a large cube. Express a lemon peel over the top.
