This is a cocktail I created for use at Blackberry Farm, a Relais & Chateaux resort located in Walland, TN. This is a take on the classic cocktail, "Dark and Stormy". The vanilla syrup and egg white really give this a wintertime feel.
1.5 oz. Myers's Rum
.25 oz. Housemade vanilla syrup
.25 oz. Housemade all spice dram
1 lime freshly squeezed
1 egg white
Fever-tree Ginger Beer
In an empty cocktail shaker add everything except the ginger beer. Dry hard shake for 15 seconds. Add ice to the tin and then shake till cold. Pour contents into an empty rocks glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a thick lime twist.
