A friend of mine recently gave me some of her elderberry infused Strathearn Heather Rose Gin to play around with. This is my twist on the PDT’s El Diablada which is in turn a twist on Trader Vic’s El Diablo.
1 & 1/2 oz Elderberry infused Gin
1 oz pisco
3/4 oz lemon
1/2 oz ginger syrup
1/2 oz honey syrup
Lemon wheel and candied ginger garnish
Add all ingredients to an ice filled shaker and shake vigorously. Double strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice and garnish.
