Extra Golden Cadillac

About this Cocktail

My riff on the classic Golden Cadillac invented in 1952 by Frank Cline and delivered in large numbers at Poorreds. Having seen fellow enthusiast Andreasttoft make his version, I’ve tried likewise using Licor 43 to match the Vanilla notes from the Galliano.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz Galliano Liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz Creme de Cacao (White)
  • 3/4 oz Cream
  • 1/4 oz 2% milk
  • 1/2 oz Licor 43
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • Shaved Chocolate Garnish
  • Pocky Chocolate cream covered biscuit stir stick optional garnish
Preparation:

Combine all but the garnish(es) in a shaker and fill with ice — shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

Double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with shaved chocolate.

(Optional) Includes a Pocky Chocolate cream covered biscuit stick.
