About this Cocktail
I found a Thai-Chili Aperol infusion on Liquor.com a few weeks ago. Thought it would be best in something dark and strong. I really like how the spice blends with the orange here.
2 oz. rye whiskey
1 oz. Solerno blood orange liqueur
1 oz. Thai chili-infused Aperol
1 dash Bittermens bitter melon bitters
Combine, stir, strain. Serve on the rocks, garnish with blood orange wedge.
Aperol infusion is really quick and easy. 1 large thai chili in 500 ml of Aperol for an hour or two, to taste.
