Found this on Liquor.com looking for another use for my Yvette. Very beautiful and very complex.
2 oz. Grey Goose vodka
.75 oz. lime juice
.5 oz. Crème Yvette
.5 oz. vanilla syrup
2 dashes orange bitters
Add ingredients over ice. Shake, and strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
*Vanilla syrup: INGREDIENTS:
1 cups Hot water
1 cups Sugar
5 Vanilla beans, split and quartered
PREPARATION: Pour the hot water over top of the sugar and vanilla beans and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Let the mixture sit for one hour. Strain into a new container and discard the vanilla beans. Refrigerate.
