Fire Walk With Me

About this Cocktail

Through the darkness of future's past,
The magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds...
"Fire... walk with me.”

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
  • 0.5 oz Indio Barrel Room Rum-Based Curaçao
  • 0.5 oz Calisaya liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz Spicy Orange-Clove Honey Syrup
  • Bar spoon Ginger liqueur
  • 2 dashes Scrappy’s Lime Bitters
Preparation:

*Spicy Orange-Clove-Honey Syrup:
Put 8 ounces of Bee Local Hot Honey, 8 ounces of water, 2 tablespoons of whole cloves, and the peels of 6-8 oranges into a saucepan and bring to a light boil. Turn off heat and let the mixture steep for no less than 30 minutes. Once cool, store in a bottle. It should keep for about 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator.

Rim a chilled coupe with sugar and set aside. Put all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake for about 20 seconds. Fine strain into the prepared coupe glass. Flame a cinnamon stick and grate over the top of the cocktail. Garnish with a nice lemon peel. And one more thing... I'm not gonna talk about Judy; in fact, we're not gonna talk about Judy at all, we're gonna keep her out of it!
