An original by yours truly.
I'm not normally a big vodka person, but after attending a seminar with St. George Spirits early last year and sampling their Green Chile Vodka, I knew it belonged in my bar. My first thoughts were how I wanted to pair it with mezcal.
In this drink, smokiness from the mezcal combines with green chile pepper and pineapple flavors, reminiscent of grilled kabobs in the summer.
Combine/shake all ingredients with ice, strain into Nick & Nora glass.
The above recipe I found to be the most balanced... but feel free to up the Vida to 3/4oz for more smokey flavors, or sub in Chichicapa for even more pepper notes.
