About this Cocktail
My 3 gin riff on the Vieux Carré at Our Fathers in Allston, MA, and a play on the old cheer "Hip hip hooray!" Here, the sloe gin subs in for the sweet vermouth.
1 oz London Dry Gin
1 oz Genever
1 oz Sloe Gin
1/4 oz Benedictine
2 dash Peychaud's Bitters
2 dash Angostura Bitters
Stir with ice, strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube, and garnish with an orange twist.
