Ginger Pear Mojito

About this Cocktail

Synthesis of need

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 medium pear, peeled, half sliced, half in chunks
  • 1/4 oz agave syrup
  • 1/2 oz St. George's spiced pear liqueur
  • 1/4 oz lime juice (or two lime wedges)
  • 1 1/2 oz Mt Gay Rum, Cachaca, or Light Rum (depending on taste)
  • 2 dashes Bitter Truth Own Decanter
  • 2 oz Bundaberg Ginger Beer
  • 2 normal ice cubes
  • 1 collins glass
Preparation:

In a mixing glass or shaker, muddle chunks of pear, agave syrup, bitters, and lime juice or wedges.
Pour into bottom of Collins glass
Add Spiced Pear liqueur to the Collins glass
Add Rum or Cachaca to the Collins glass
Add ice
Top with Ginger Beer
Serve with a straw (for both drinking and stirring)
