Grappa Sour

About this Cocktail

A friend of mine tossed one of these at me and it was great. I was able to come pretty close to his!

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Grappa
  • 3/4 oz Lemon
  • 1/4 oz lime
  • 1/4 oz St. Germain
  • 1/4 Cointreau
  • Splash of Simple Syrup
  • Lemon Peel
Preparation:

Shake everything (except the peel) together and serve up. Add a good squeeze of lemon peel to bring it all together, wipe around the rim of the glass, and serve.

    Any specific grape for the grappa? My initial thought was something softer, like Moscato or Barbera.

    I used a grappa from an Italian style winery near Santa Barbara called Mosby. It was great!
