Trying out base notes for a future cocktail

Hibiscus syrup: 1 c sugar 1 c water 3 grams hibiscus flowers. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar and steep 8 minutes.

Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 1 ounce hibiscus syrup
  • .5 ounce fresh lime juice
Preparation:

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into coupe glass.
