We had just finished packing for the move one day, after multiple trips to the dump & the temporary storage unit (2 different places!) and I didn’t feel like making an elaborate cocktail so we went with the Tommy Heinrich of cocktails, the G ‘n T. We didn’t agree on the gin when she wanted a pink gin, but we did know we needed the Fever Tree Elderflower tonic water! If I wasn’t so lazy & tired, I’d have thrown a slice of cucumber 🥒 in there. There’s always next time.
1.5 oz Tanquerey 10 or Gordon’s Gin
4-5 oz Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic (to taste)
Garnish with a cucumber strip or lime wedge
Prepare in a chilled double rocks or high ball glass with larger ice
Add gin & tonic to taste preference by adding more tonic or more ice.
Garnish with a cucumber strip swirl on a pick or a lime wedge/wheel (if you’re using a flavored product like I am here, consider this an option.
