From our original cocktail list when we opened Cure. A simple variation of the classic French 75 using bourbon and peach in place of gin or brandy.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon
.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Simple Syrup (1:1 Cold)
1 dash of Peach Bitters
Champagne to top the glass off
Preparation:
In a shaker combine bourbon (at Cure we use Evan Williams single barrel), lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters and ice. Shake and strain into a coupe or champagne flute and top with Champagne and a lemon peel.
