About this Cocktail

An iteration of an unnamed cocktail of SheShedCocktails where I opted to lower the bitterness by cutting back on the Aperol just a bit and serving over a single sphere/cube. Whilst the dehydrated orange is pretty enough floating atop this drink, submerge it in your rocks or cocktail glass once you’ve admired it!

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Beefeaters Gin
  • 1.25 oz Aperol
  • .75 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
  • .75 oz Simple Sugar
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 Dehydrated Orange Slice
Preparation:

Combine all but orange slice into a shaker and dry shake for 30 seconds.

Add ice to the shaker and reshake for another 30 seconds until well chilled.

Double strain into a chilled rocks or cocktail glass holding a single large sphere or ice cube.

Float a generous dehydrated orange slice atop.
