About this Cocktail

A Valentine’s Day drink created for my friend Jan who previously like chocolate martinis, followed by my Salted Caramel Martini. So continuing that theme here’s more booziness with exponential chocolate. Enjoy the Jan-U-Airy now, in February and beyond!
Note: There are a LOT of small volume ingredients here, while I played with this one to settle on this mix, YMMV with changes.

  • 1 oz Kraken Dark Rum
  • 1 oz Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
  • 3/4 oz Half ‘n Half
  • 1/4 oz Cinnamon Schnapps
  • 1/4 oz Absolut Orange Vodka
  • 1/4 oz Mure Blackberry Liqueur
  • 1/8 oz Cointreau
  • 1/8 oz Velvet Falernum
  • 3/4 -1 oz Chocolate Syrup to taste
  • 1/4 oz Mathilde Raspberry Liqueur
  • 2 dashes Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters
  • 1 dash Mr Lee’s Chinese Bitters
  • Dehydrated Orange Slice

Prepare a chilled martini glass by sugaring 1/2 of the rim.

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds until well chilled.

Double strain into the martini glass and garnish with a dehydrated orange slice.
