About this Cocktail

This drink isn't exactly subtle, neither in taste or its effect, but it's pretty good nonetheless. Wray & Nephew isn't easy to subdue, but the OJ and lemon do their damndest. The spicy old fashioned bitters is what really ties it together and makes it worth your while. To me, it's a blast. Got good reception when I served it to my Jamaican extended family who were watching a Best in Show contest on TV, hence the name.

  • 2 oz Wray & Nephew Overproof Jamaican Rum
  • 3/4 oz orange juice
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 dash Fee Brother's Old Fashioned Bitters

Add all ingredients to shaker, fill with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and serve (though after two or three, you may want a glass that's a bit easier to handle).
