About this Cocktail

As sour variation featuring apricot preserves as presented by Jeffery Morgenthaler. The man loves his jams.
This is a mighty fine drink suitable for nearly any occasion.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Elijah Craig 12 year bourbon
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • .5 oz. 2:1 simple syrup
  • .5 oz egg white, beaten
  • 1 tsp apricot preserves (Wonderful brand Corta used here)
Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in Boston shaker, fill with ice and shake like hell. When you feel your form begin to suffer, stop. Double strain into egg coupe or whatever is handy and preferably clean.
