Blackbird Summer Menu 2014 By Shawn Vergara
A tiki-ish, super refreshing cocktail brought back from last year. We added one of our favorite new products Giffard Banane du Brasil and also changed the rum to El Dorado 3 year.

  • 1.5oz El Dorado 3 year rum
  • .5oz Giffard Banane du Brasil
  • 1.5oz Coconut Water
  • .5oz lime
  • 1oz orgeat

Combine all ingredients into tin, add ice, strain into hurricane type glass, top with crushed ice, garnish with lime and nutmeg.

    Oh man, already getting hot in Houston...this is happening this weekend. Also....am I the only one that always subs Falernum anytime a recipe calls for orgeat? Or do I extra don't like my liver?

    I'm sure it will work. This drink might need the extra body given by Orgeat.

    Of necessity, made this with Liquid Alchemist Coconut in place of coconut water and orgeat.
