A Tiki drink I created at Russell House Tavern late spring 2014 for a guest who was having academic woes and who loved sherry! I was inspired by the Nui Nui's Don's Mix #2/Don's Spices of vanilla syrup and allspice dram. This drink eventually morphed into the Mytoi Gardens which made the menu at RHT that summer.
1 1/2 oz White Rum such as Privateer Silver
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Amontillado Sherry
3/4 oz Pineapple Juice
3/8 oz Vanilla Syrup
3/8 oz Allspice Dram
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a snifter or Hurricane glass. Fill with crushed ice and float 1/2 oz Cruzan Blackstrap Rum. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and add straws.
