This was the second drink by Khi Leonard and Graeme MacKay at The Good Spirit co Cocktail Club in Glasgow. Taking inspiration from last years Castaway variation this savoury sipper was served with a small selection of snacks chosen to compliment the drink. Each sip improved the taste of the food while every bite brought out new notes in the cocktail. A very clever serve.
35ml Blanco Tequila
35ml Manzanilla Sherry
20ml Liquor de Poire Williams
Add all ingredients to an ice filled mixing glass and stir until chilled and diluted. Strain into a chilled coupe and serve with some green olives, sliced pear, salted roast almonds and hard Italian cheese.
