I was inspired by a few flavor combinations including dark amaro + apricot liqueur and named this after the 1970s era checkout card at the back of the retired library book on Scotch that I bought used.
1 1/2 oz Scotch
1/2 oz Bonal (or other Quinquina)
1/2 oz Cynar
1/2 oz Apricot Liqueur
Stir with ice, strain into a cocktail coupe, and garnish with an orange twist.
