House creation. The scotch, mango and cinnamon play really well off each other, and complement nicely. Just a bit of yellow chartreuse adds the sweet to round out a very flavor-forward drink.
2 oz. JW Black
1 oz. fresh mango juice
.5 oz. Cinnamon syrup
.5 oz. Yellow Chartruese
A nice Speyside would do well too, in place of the Johnnie Walker. If you make the mango juice at home, I made mine a bit thick on the purée setting. Cinnamon syrup is 4:2:1 ratio ground cinnamon:water:demerara sugar.
Combine ingredients and shake over ice, serve on the rocks with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon on top.
