About this Cocktail

January cocktail special for Trattoria Piatto.

Pisa, a Liqueur of hazelnuts, pistachios, and almonds contributes a lot to the beautiful nose on this drink. Our house Vin Santo, essentially a port, is Belcaro Chianti Classico for those of you who care.

Ingredients:
  • Laphroaig Single Malt
  • .75 oz. Famous Grouse Scotch
  • .5 oz. Pisa
  • .25 oz. Vin Santo
  • .5 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 barspoon of brandied cherry juice
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
Preparation:

Mist/rinse a grappe glass with Laphroaig. Stir all remaining ingredients over ice and strain into prepared glass. No garnish.
