About this Cocktail

Working with a syrup made from Oliver Pluff and Company Colonial Bohea Tea. Inspired by early Colonial American flavors.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Madiera (A drier variety like a Sercial, or even a white Port would work.)
  • .5 oz. Agricole Rhum
  • .5 oz. Bohea Syrup
  • 3 Large Strips of Orange (Cut on Vegetable Peeler)
  • 2 Large Strips Grapefruit (Cut on Vegetable Peeler)
  • Cracked Ice
  • Tobacco Bitters
Preparation:

Add the Madiera, Rhum, Syrup and Citrus to a shaker tin filled 3/4 of the way up with cracked ice. Shake like hell. Pour the contents of the shaker, unstrained, into a chilled rocks glass and top with a few dashes of Tobacco bitters. Serve with a straw.
