Spring/Summer /2015 at Blackbird - an earthy dry approach to the predecessor of the Margarita.
1.5oz Mina Real Mezcal
.50 Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
.25 gum syrup
2 cucumber slices muddled
2 dash celery bitter
2 dash Orange bitters
Muddle cucumber in tin, add all ingredients, shake with fresh ice, fine strain into Sotol rinsed coupe. Garish with an edible flower.
