About this Cocktail

riff on mojito paris posted by camilo vargas lesmes, based on lack of rum in the house, but turned out well

Ingredients:
  • 10 blueberries
  • 3/4oz elderflower liqueur (e.g. st germaine)
  • 1&1/2oz cachaça (the better the better)
  • 10 mint leaves, slapped awake, bruised, torn
  • 1T simple syrup
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • grapefruit-flavored sparkling water
Preparation:

muddle berries in syrup. add liquor & liqueur & mint & lime. shake with ice. strain onto crushed ice. add one finger or so sparkling water. swish it around and garnish with more mint.

    Original was built in glass. We shook to chill, but didn't hard strain so that muddled mint ended up in glass
