About this Cocktail
A night off from work & some untapped creativity have resulted in a few quick concoctions; this is the first of three mixed drinks utilising fresh fruit & fresh herbs.
I landed on the name then searched the liquour shelf for ideas; I opted for anything remotely 'far east' from the UK - Bombay, mandarins, lapsang souchong, ginger.
The result :- smoky, smooth, fruity & a little herbaceous.
1.5oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
0.5oz Smoked Lapsang Tea Infused Gin
0.5oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Half Fresh Mandarin
Two Sprigs Fresh Tarragon
3 Drops Bitter Bastards Liquorice Bitters
3 Drops Bitter Bastards Ginger Bitters
Muddle mandarin & lemon juice.
Strip tarragon stems, clap leaves & drop.
Add all other ingredients.
Shake. (Double) Strain. Sipp & Chatter.
