About this Cocktail

Uses homemade Rose's Lime Syrup (http://barnotes.co/recipes/homemade-rose-s-lime-juice-for-classic-gimlet), but could use the original recipe (http://www.absolutdrinks.com/en/drinks/nacional-de-cuba/) if you have lime juice and simple syrup instead.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz light rum
  • 1 oz Luxardo Apricot (Creme de Noyeaux)
  • 1 oz homemade Rose's Lime Syrup (http://barnotes.co/recipes/homemade-rose-s-lime-juice-for-classic-gimlet)
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • lime wedge (optional)
Preparation:

Pre-freeze double old fashioned glasses. Fill with crushed ice or ice cubes.

Mix all but lime wedge in shaker. Add copious ice. Shake the hell out of it.

Serve in frozen glasses, garnish with lime wedge (optional).
