About this Cocktail

Ready for this? Negroni + Sazerac = Negroniac

It's crazy, but it totally worked and I love it sooooo much! I bottle and keep Negroni* on hand for occasions such as these! Also keep in mind that the measurements are exact! Too much Rye and the drink is way off!

Ingredients:
  • 1 3/4 oz Negroni
  • 1 1/4 oz Rye
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • St. George Absinthe Verte Rinse
  • Lemon Peel
Preparation:

Rinse rocks glass with Absinthe and chill. In tin, combine Negroni and Rye over cracked ice. Stir and strain into rinsed glass. Express and discard Lemon Peel. Santé!

*Negroni: I always use Plymouth Gin for the smoothness, never Bombay or the like. This bottle also has Carpano Antica and of course, Campari.
