About this Cocktail

August drink special at Trattoria Piatto- My preference is to use Thai Kitchen original coconut milk because it's thicker than other brands that I've used and gives the drink the proper texture and consistency, deeming it Nuvola, or "Cloud" in Italian. Regardless of which brand you chose to use, make sure to shake the can very well because it will separate.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz (plus a splash) of coconut milk
  • 1 oz Tito's vodka (or your preference)
  • .65 oz sours
  • .5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 mint leaf
Preparation:

Pour all ingredients into shaker with MINIMAL amount of ice (to prevent dilution) and shake just until chilled. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain into a low ball glass and float a mint leaf on top.
