About this Cocktail
My version of the Paloma for Alexandra
Half a grapefruit, freshly squeezed
Half a lime, freshly squeezed
1/2 tbsp sugar
2 oz. Tequila (Blanco)
Kosher salt (for glass rim)
Mix grapefruit & lime juice together. Add sugar and stir to dissolve.
Rub inside of grapefruit pulp on rim of glass. Dip room into kosher salt to lightly coat it.
Pour juice and sugar mixture into the highball glass and add tequila. Add ice and stir to mix. Fill rest of glass with Seltzer and stir. Add slice of grapefruit skin to run of glass as garnish.
