Making use of some infused tequila and passion fruit syrup, I created this variation on my usual margarita recipe. Adjust heat to taste and according to the strength of your infused tequila. Makes two.
3.25 oz tequila blanco
0.75 oz chili infused tequila
2 oz Cointreau
4 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2 oz passion fruit syrup
Combine ingredients in a large shaker on ice. Shake vigorously for at least thirty seconds. Serve up, add salt if desired, garnish if you want to. I kept the presentation basic today.
