About this Cocktail
The classic recipe, tweaked by Dave Wondrich for Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao.
1 oz. Plantation Rum Grande Reserve 5 Year Old (Barbados), or other sweet gold rum like El Dorado
1 oz. Plantation Rum Jamaica Vintage 2000. Or other gold Jamaican rum
1/2 oz. Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao.
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup.
1/4 oz. Orgeat Syrup.
3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice.
Place all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake lightly and pour over fresh ice. Top with a lime wedge and a crown of mint. The mint really makes it, BTW.
