About this Cocktail

Need a break from Manhattan and Brooklyn? Try Queens. Prepared for a professor on summer vacation from her day job in the borough. Lovely nose on this drink thanks to the rhubarb and Suze. It's a small-coupe cocktail; up the ratios if you wanna.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz bonded rye (Overholt or Rittenhouse)
  • .5 oz Suze
  • 2 dashes Rhubarb bitters
Preparation:

Tools: mixing glass, strainer
Glass: coupe
Garnish: Luxardo cherry and healthy orange peel

Combine ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Stir. Strain into coupe. Drop in the cherry and peel. Enjoy that vibrant outer-borough bittersweetness.
