I was recently watching an episode of “Somebody Feed Phil” with Phil Rosenthal. He travels the 🌍 🌎 discovering food & sometimes drink. This episode it was a Haitian Rum Sour. So without any Haitian rum I opted to use a recently gifted bottle of Raleigh Rum.
2 oz Raleigh Sweet Rum
3/4 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Simple Syrup
2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 30+ seconds.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake again until chilled.
Double strain into a chilled rocks over fresh ice (or into a chilled coupe and serve up).
