Ramos Gin Fizz

About this Cocktail


  • 1 1/4 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz Heavy cream
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 drops of Orange Flower Water
  • 1 Splash of soda water

Add all the ingredients (minus soda water) to a shaker and dry shake (without ice) to emulsify. Fill with ice and shake again. Add soda water. Strain into an Irish coffee mug or rocks glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.

    This recipe is terrible - first, it's just the egg WHITE, not a whole egg. second, 1.25 oz of gin is way too much to balance 1oz of citrus. 2oz gin, 1/2oz each citrus, 1oz simple syrup (no, it's not too much). the rest is fine.
